It was a beautiful day when Samee walked into the writing room with fellow South Carolinian Page Mackenzie and Louisiana native Alex Smith. All three grew up on the water, so a summer song reflecting on their youth felt like a perfect move. The three spent time reminiscing on their youth, running full throttle on the water in their home states. From stories of filling sunscreen bottles with liquor, to getting chicken from the local gas station, this song embodies everything that is summer. Released in August 2022, it was the perfect song to end the season with.
