During the 8:30 round, the third of four on the night, Melissa Livingstone, Samee Cannon, and Page Mackenzie took the stage in a showcase that carried an expected ebb and flow that naturally transcended from the trio of writers who combined their individual talents earlier this year on Cannon’s infectiously addictive single, “Salt & Sugar.”

Beaufort's Samee Cannon - 'modern-day Patsy Cline'

"Beaufort songstress Samee Cannon is set to release her debut album "Pretty Artillery", with two evening shows on Dec. 20th at Q on Bay... .."Im still in the process of making my dreams come true." Cannon said..."

For "Pretty Artillery, Cannon recorded with producer Alan Price in Charleston and Columbia(SC). Jim "Soni" Sonefeld from the band Hootie and the Blowfish played drums on the album.

"...Her songs are simple and from the heart and plainly sproken." Price said. He described Cannon as a "Modern-day Patsy Cline" and her album is "a fusion of old-school Nashville and new-school country."
